Fanswag: Get the ultimate Geometry Wars: Galaxies package

Simple enough, right? Well, we wish it could be that simple. First, you'll need to read the official rules. Then, you're going to have to check your birth certificate and make sure you are at least 18 years of age. Finally, you're going to have to check your mail and make sure you're a legal resident of the United States. If none of this disqualifies you, then you can go ahead and leave a comment telling us what your favorite shape is. Only enter once, though, as multiple entries will get you disqualified.
Get your comment in before 11:59PM EST, December 11th. We'll announce the winner that will get Geometry Wars: Galaxies DS (valued at $29.99), Geometry Wars: Galaxies Wii (valued at $39.99) and the neck pillow on the following day. Good luck and thanks for reading Wii Fanboy!

WRUP: Final Countdown edition
Considering the big release this week is Master of Illusion, we figured there would be no better anthem to herald the beginning of the magic act than Europe's "Final Countdown." Gob taught us many things, but most importantly he taught us the best magic is done to Europe's masterpiece.
So, will you be honing your skills at illusion or do you have some other game you plan on sinking your teeth into? What are you playing?
IT EMULATES PRINTING MONEY!!

Japanese homebrew genius SofiyaCat has achieved the spectacularly pointless: DS games running on the PSP. The blurry image above demonstrates a PSP running the homebrew game GeoWars. The emulation is slow, the compatibility is apparently terrible, and, of course, the PSP lacks a touchscreen, but we should let the poor thing have its day. Now somebody needs to get to work figuring out a way for us to play the Dracula X Chronicles on the DS.
We don't advocate piracy, but there's no harm in testing some homebrew games on a PSP. Give it a shot!

E307: Joystiq goes hands-on with Geometry Wars
Those lucky Joystiq folk got their hands on the DS adaptation of the Xbox Live Arcade hit Geometry Wars during the recently-concluded E3. After running it through their rigorous gauntlet of tests, Joystiq came to the conclusion that the game was sloppy and hard to handle. More like hard to swallow for all of those looking forward to playing the game on the DS, we imagine.Even with the ability to guide your attack ship with the d-pad, or exclusive use of the stylus, the game is harder to play than on the Xbox 360, according to Joystiq. With 60 levels to play, we imagine even a little bit of time with the game won't help correct this error. Guess the game just needs analog sticks ...
