Porcupo

Admittedly, we don't even remember this one very well from Super Mario Bros. 2, which makes it difficult to say just how exactly it's underrated. But, yeah, definitely overlooked. Porcupo's name obviously suggests a relatedness to the porcupine, but in the context of the video game world it more closely resembles Sonic the Hedgehog. And since yours truly grew up during the heated console war between Nintendo and Sega, my first impulse is to crush it with a POW block.
