Usually any form of reckless destruction with a sledgehammer is a plus in a video game, but stripping away Mario's inherent ability to jump is all kinds of wrong. And that's what Nintendo did to him in Wrecking Crew: They wronged him. Additionally, you can't even be reckless; players must be systematic in their hammer swingin' so as not to isolate Mario with a broken ladder. Well, it looked good on the outside. All but Mario's blue hair anyway.
