Age of Excellent Strategy
While it's not often discussed, Age
of Empires: Age of Kings has been one of the most well-regarded DS
titles since its release
in 2006. Unfortunately, like so many DS games that are highly praised,
Age of Empires received less-than-stellar scores, even from outlets
that touted it as a Game of the Month, and ended up with a metascore of
80%. Some of this was due to bugs that have been addressed, but the
lack of online play also hurt the title.
But don't let that stop you from picking up a perfect complement to
Advance Wars. Many have called it the same experience with added
maturity, so if you love Advance Wars, this is the first stop you
should make when looking for something similar. The best part? By now,
it's totally cheap.
