Originally developed as tech demo to showcase the DS' unique features, Yoshi Touch & Go makes creative use of the touch screen and microphone on the handheld. In fact, no buttons are used in the control scheme at all. As more of a stylized, arcade side-scroller than a true platformer, the game works well as a portable effort with exhibition-style gameplay. Unfortunately, any trace of Yoshi-related storyline is forsaken in the process.
