Mario Golf: Advance Tour (Game Boy Advance, 2004)

Just as Mario Golf on the Game Boy Color was compatible with its N64 counterpart, so too is Advance Tour capable of transferring data to and from Toadstool Tour. Since the series' inception back in 1985 (or 1999, depending on which developers you count), it seems as though Mario shifted from being the only playable character to an elusive namesake. Camelot's adventure modes hardly pertain to the Mario universe, and their games could certainly have existed without bringing in elements of the Mushroom Kingdom. Still, we're fond of Camelot's repertoire, and we fear for the future of Mario Golf...
