Poison Mushroom

shrinks Mario, stripping him of the ability to trust the common mushroom ever again

As once noted, we think the poisonous mushroom is a cruel developer's joke. We do like that, in principle, it toys with gamers' understanding of the rules established in the original Super Mario Bros., and yet we recognize the sheer frustration prompted by our first finding.
