Dr. Mario

Here is one of a few images in this gallery that shouldn't surprise anyone given the popularity of the Dr. Mario series, but is nevertheless pleasing. Even though Mario looks somewhat angry here, we can't get enough of his hospital uniform, so sterile and sleek. We were never convinced that he passed his MCATs to become certified and everything, but hell, we'd let him perform surgery on our first born.

Except now that we're looking at him without a cap, doesn't it seem odd that his mustache and eyebrows are jet black but his hair is tinted red? What nationality is Mario, finally? Does it matter? Isn't he all of us at once?
