Tanooki Suit

Ah, the legendary tanooki suit. You knew it would be here in this gallery of wonderful Mario clothing, and yet you cannot take your eyes from it. It is beautiful, in a weird anti-PETA way, and rugged in the manner of Davy Crockett. Still, untouchable as it may be, it is lacking the swollen testicles of Japan's cultural trickster. Those could have broken apart families if they had made the electronic transition.
