Warp Whistle

Warp Whistle

This screen is reserved for players who know the ol' duck & drop white block trick of World 1-3 in SMB3 (maybe through reading Jeff Rovin's amazing series of books, How to Win at Nintendo Games in which he details the nuances of game design to an absurd extent). This hermetic Toad House exists beneath the fabric of gameplay, stitched into the seams between worlds, offering but one treasure chest which holds the legendary warp whistle. It also happens to be one of the few places where fireballs appear green, with Luigi's special attack in Double Dash being another.
