Special World

It takes considerable skill to make it this far, and the difficulty of Special World's stages will be your reminder. Unlocked only after completing each stage of Star World, this area is remembered best by its eccentric stage names: Gnarly, Tubular, Way Cool, Awesome, Groovy, Mondo, Outrageous and Funky. Fun fact: Wait about two minutes on the map of Special World to hear a remix of the Super Mario Bros. overworld theme.
