Since the beginning I've liked how Nintendo Week sticks in all these clever little jokes in-between the aforementioned "PR junk" (which I just skip through). It's like someone's writing it who actually cares. Makes the show have more personality than some of its competitors, like the Sony update thing where they have some model staring vacuously into the camera and talking about new games that she very likely hasn't played and won't ever think about again. Not too keen on that.
Also, the wizard reminded me of the "black Gandalf", or whatever his name was, who showed up a couple times on Triumph the Insult Comic Dog after the "Star Wars" episode. I swear to God I saw him at an anime convention in September.
