Club Nintendo Japan sending Game & Watches as Platinum gifts

Nintendo is producing a new run of the classic handheld Ball, specifically to give away to Club Nintendo members who accrued 400 points or more in the last year. It's a replica of the original, with a Club Nintendo logo added. Like the other Platinum awards, this doesn't cost any points (so Platinum members can still buy Wii de Ultrahand), and will be sent out to everyone who qualifies.
As usual, gold members get a calendar.

Grass is always fucken greener isn't it.
The game and watch games are BORING . They are fun for like 2 minutes and that's it.
I love to play as him in Brawl but really people just want to be jealous. I wore my Mario Hat all day sunday in real life. Did I look like a dork, yeah but it was fun .
This thing would collect dust and never get use. It will be a neat thing, but actual fun from the device is limited. I have my zelda posters up already and they are very nice. I wore my 1080 avalanche cap yesterday because it was cold out. I use the DS card carrier to have 6 games ready.
Stuff I can actually use in real life and is more than nostalgia factor is win, the rest is neat dust collectors.
If this game and watch had EVERY SINGLE Game and watch game pre-installed into it. Now that would be something neat, but a single ball game which you move arms a little left and right-----BORING.
If people had this option in USA they would cry and hate it. It's offered in Japan-it's automatically amazing. Bullshit.

Holy crap that's sweet. I hope NOA learns its lessons from the years of whining for Club Nintendo and brings this sucker over. That plush hat they did give out was pretty nice, but I'd get a LOT of use out of Ball if it came here as it's a fantastic little time waster that works great with the little stand as a clock/alarm too.
Adv2k1 chill. Just because you don't get it doesn't mean others won't either. It's a fun little time waster now just as it was nearly 30 years ago. I used to have it, played a sim of it for Win9X/XP some years ago and it still was worth a plug (on that GBC collection too come to think of it as well.)

Club Nintendo America needs some new prizes cause I have 1510 coins. I dont need any playing cards or DS game cases (all i have is GuitarHero and 2 Acekard2i). I hope they have like a really really nice prize for people with over 1000 coins

Nintendo just needs to put all the Game & Watch games in one game and sell it. Even if it doesn't sell well (though I'm sure it will), it will be nearly pure profit.
