I actually remember PLAYING Fighting Street on the TG-16 CD (and even in arcades with the huge rubber coated buttons). At the time, it didn't seem that bad, because that's what there was...but...I don't think its aged very well. lol
As for R-Type. I agree. I'd go with the superior TG-16 version there. Its such a classic, awesome schmup, and the extra level isn't worth the drop down in quality to the SMS version, as much of a feat as it was at the time it was first released on the SMS.

You never mentioned that the Master System version of R-Type had it's own level that never appeared on any other release. I still love you though, Hinkle.
