Lock on to new Sin and Punishment 2 screens

We may die of an acute case of jealousy. Treasure's Sin and Punishment 2 is still on track to be released in Japan on October 29, and it still has that amazing box art. Dengeki has posted a nice selection of screens showing the spectacular visuals you'll be flying around, and shooting at. FYI, for the giant chicken monster-phobic: the giant chicken monster is only in one of the screens.

We're looking forward to trying out the multiple control schemes available: both with pointing, in the form of Wiimote/Nunchuk and Zapper, and pointer-free with the GameCube Controller, Classic Controller, or Classic Controller Pro.

I love that Japanese box art, it's simply amazing.I can't think of any box art that tops this game, except maybe Sonic and Knuckles.

Unlikely we will ever see it though - the Japanese box art, I mean.

I was really not too hyped about this game till I read that it would include controller options that would allow you to play the classic way (ala a controller)

Now, I say, bring it on!

No way am I playing this with a controller. People hate the original S&P's controls for a reason you know.

I've heard about this game. I believe the first one was supposed to super spectacularly good.

The first one was awesome, and looked awesome.

This one, well... i'm a little confused about what's so great about the box art, it looks like every JRPG cover over here. And you seem to have chosen the WORST screen to put on the article.. i honestly thought it was one from the original at first glance.

the other screens look a lot better though. but not stunning.
