For gamers who bore witness to the advent of the PlayStation, Toshinden likely brings back memories. You'll remember how you forced yourself to believe it was incredibly awesome at the time (It's like Street Fighter ... in 3D!). First one was good.. but went down hill (like GH) by the third game..
that trailer made me think 'I thought breasts were round and smooth'...

It might be speaking purely from nostalgia, but graphically I think Last Bronx on the Saturn could give this game a run of its money.

Toshinden games were always a bit wank, but I'm glad this game exists. If not for the gameplay, then at least for its borrowed style; there was a character shooting off some guns, something that reminds me so much of Janet in Fighters Megamix. Plus, the game has a Ky Kiske cosplayer, so it can't be all that bad.

wow! i never played the original and this one might be good to pick up. but one concern, will there be more than 2 fighting arenas? the video only showed 2....thats a bit worrying.
anyway, graphically it is an ok fighting game, character designs are good IMO!

Hmm, I wonder if Takara Tomy used up the licensing yen it gained from Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes to make Toshinden Wii.

While most designs are anime generics the gameplay sounds fun!

The music sounds good, but it needs just a little more going on in the background. Otherwise, looks like a decent arena fighter. :D
