This Week on the Nintendo Channel: Nintendo gives you a pile of trash

If you've been doing your due diligence with Animal Crossing: City Folk, know that Nintendo has a full month of activities ahead for October. The first item on the agenda is giving you a nice pile of trash. No, seriously, if you connect your Wii to the internet, you can get a letter from Nintendo with a free pile of leaves attached. It should go wonderfully with that trashcan you have sitting in your house's corner.

Is there anyway to get all the items you missed (say you are just now getting your Wii online)?

Yeah, but you'll need to ask other people for the items. People who have received Nintendo items can order them from their catalog and then give or sell them to you.

I'm surprised Joystiq hasn't been keeping up the updates on DLC... they've mentioned a few here and there, but essentially skipped one of every mention.

WiiFolder keeps the updates gooood though.
