Europe gets three new Nintendo DSi colors October 23

Brothers and sisters across the pond, we'd like to inform you that three new DSi colors are coming your way October 23. Joining the already available black and white models are the US launch cotton candy blue model, a metallic blue model (which looks exactly like the navy DS Lite from Japan) and a red model. Each DSi will come pre-loaded with the new Facebook integration feature and Flipnote Studio.

Oh, and if you get one, don't forget to take it online for those 1,000 free DSi Points (offer ends March 2010).

I stuck with my original DS and never did end up getting a DS Lite partly because they didn't release a navy blue version in the US.

Meh, I was hoping they would bring over that color to the US but the Oct. 5 deadline for the free Nintendo points was cming up and I had a reason to buy something, so I bought a black DSi last weekend. But then, for all we know the navy blue DSi will never come stateside just like the DS Lite, and I will spend the rest of the DSi's lifetime cursing Nintendo for being idiotic about their color choices.

DSi doesn't need pink to attract girls to it.
However, I need that red DSi. It just looks too good. Please, please give us the red(heck, the (navy, not baby) blue looks good too) model. Please.

Actually, the metallic blue DSi isn't just like the Enamel Navy DS Lite (I thought it was, too). It actually has a metallic shine to it, whereas the navy DS Lite was glossy like the other models.
