Sin and Punishment 2 flying into Japan October 29
The Japanese box art for Sin and Punishment 2, which appears to have been cropped out of a Famitsu scan by NeoGAFfer neo2046, is awesome. We're all thinking it: it's far too awesome to survive the trip overseas. This amazing art is doomed to be replaced with 3D character art upon its release in North America. But we can appreciate it now!We can also appreciate the tiny text at the bottom, which reveals a release date of October 29 in Japan. Nintendo of America has yet to update the "Q1 2010" date for North America -- a date that must have seemed like a good idea at the time, but now places this niche game, which we want to protect like a little baby, in the middle of a very dangerous game environment.

I see the Nintendo WiFi Connection logo is up there. I doubt co-op online play will be included, so I am assuming that symbol means there will be online leaderboards. Sweet.
Also, I want the box art. Please print a double-sided version, Nintendo, like you did for the NPC series!

I don't understand how this game is going to take until 2010 not to get localized.
Sadly, I hope have much hope for it. Not only is Q1 2010 ultra crowded now, but Nintendo isn't exactly doing much to hype this game. It's a new Sin & Punishment and people all seem very 'meh' about it.
Maybe that's to be expected for an import game that had cult popularity and was only recently released on the VC...but still!

That's a fine looking piece of boxart that is. O.O

Looks awesome. One of my most anticipated games.
