The first Metroid Prime reigns as my favorite. The Phendrana Drifts area is phenomenal. I was really skeptical about a 3d Metroid but it only took a few minutes to fall in love.
Marrvia @ Sep 2nd 2009 3:47AM
Metroid Prime 1 was the best. Not only because it was fresh at the time, but the level design is better that the gameplay is better than the 2 sequels. I would really love to play this game again with Wii controls.
Miguel @ Sep 3rd 2009 2:51PM
1st metroid prime hands down. The drifts section has beautiful music and the sense of solitude throughout the game is phenomenal. Plus, the boss fights are classic (i.e. fighting Ridley and shooting 50+ missiles at him)
Kilau @ Sep 1st 2009 1:21PM
The first Prime game is my favorite.
Nothing can match the first. After you land and see how gorgeous the game is, like the water coming off your visor after jumping into the little pond. The game had everything, including a better control system then the Wii prime.
Link408 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:20PM
hmmm
id say the original Prime
i spent countless hours trying to 100% it
il_duce620 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:21PM
I've only played Metroid Prime 3, but I absolutely loved it!
Nikolai From @ Sep 1st 2009 1:21PM
I'd have to say Corruption was my favorite, though it's a tight race. The controls were incredible, the graphics are still the best on Wii, the new characters, while underused, were pretty awesome, the music was superb as always, and the gestural actions were sweet. I never thought I'd have so much fun welding in a videogame, but there you are.
Plageuis @ Sep 1st 2009 1:22PM
The original Metroid Prime.
Garu @ Sep 1st 2009 1:25PM
The original NES Metroid! Still my favorite!
Str84rumBk (PSN) @ Sep 1st 2009 1:25PM

bhengh @ Sep 1st 2009 1:27PM

Indiana Hoosier @ Sep 1st 2009 1:27PM
The original Metroid Prime definatley is the best.
HairyBalls @ Sep 1st 2009 1:27PM
The first Metroid Prime is my favorite.
Yomamma @ Sep 1st 2009 1:28PM
I think I like the first one the best (Prime) but the controls on Corruption are killer. I gues now, with the new controls it has to be the 1st one.
ExMegalomaniac @ Sep 1st 2009 1:28PM
thats a tough choice, i love all 3. i remember playing the first prime several times, especially the beginning cause my memory card kept corrupting data. and then each game after that improved upon the system more and more. i'm gonna say it's close to prime 1 and 3
rockman @ Sep 1st 2009 1:31PM
MP 3 was my favorite. Better presentation, story, weapons, settings than the first two. Not to mention it finally had/explained the Mother Brain!
Mr Mobius - the wandering artist @ Sep 1st 2009 1:34PM
I never got far with Prime 2 cause I sucked at using control stick for any FPS, but now it's got Wii controls, I'll have to give this boxset a try - 3 games for the rpice of 1 1/2, of course!
Chris @ Sep 1st 2009 1:38PM
Man i want this so bad! Metroid Prime 1 is definitely my favorite, the first 3d Metroid with amazing and detailed backgrounds, hard bosses and awesome unlockables with connection to Metroid Fusion.
Jeff R. @ Sep 1st 2009 1:36PM
The First one is the only one I've played, so that.
Jay @ Sep 1st 2009 1:36PM
Prime 3 was my fav
JBGUY2K @ Sep 1st 2009 1:35PM
I will have to go with the original Prime. Seriously, never have I loved getting used to how the world is layed out like that since Super Metroid. Especially the first time I played the game, everything felt like it was familiar, but it was so new.
And then RIDLEY! FREAKIN METAL RIDLEY! He had the greatest battle song in the freakin game! Anyone who disagrees... probably has a different opinion. :P
Hardy @ Sep 1st 2009 1:36PM
Corruption.
They are all good, but adding VO and giving it a fleshed out story was just awesome.
Vitoto @ Sep 1st 2009 1:36PM
While all outstanding games, the first Metroid Prime is the game that made the biggest impact on me. From the moment you look through the visor into the beautifully detailed environments and engage in numerous styles of combat with enemies, this game defines what a 2D to 3D transition is supposed to be like. I just have trouble deciding between this game and Ocarina for who should own the top honor in the transition category.
Leish @ Sep 1st 2009 1:37PM
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
OOOOOOOOOOOhhhh YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAhhh
Doctor John Smith @ Sep 1st 2009 1:38PM
The original is my favorite.
When I first played it, as a wee lad, I was entranced by the incredible atmosphere created in the game.
monkeyninja @ Sep 1st 2009 1:38PM
i enjoyed metroid prime hunters for the ds
aceofclubs23 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:38PM
The original Metroid Prime. Gorgeous graphics for the 'Cube and only of the first FPS that I acutally enjoyed playing.
alamos @ Sep 1st 2009 1:41PM
I like Metroid Prime 3 because it felt how a FPS on the Wii should be. It makes me excited to replay the other Primes with Wii controls.
Aaron @ Sep 1st 2009 1:46PM
Corruption is best, but only due to the controls. Since the Trilogy has Wii-mote controls, the original will be the best.
nightmare452 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:43PM
Prime 1 for GC of course. Very original game, and still fun and challenging.
Marshall @ Sep 1st 2009 5:08PM
Metroid Prime.
This contest isn't 1 entry per day like the others, right? It's just 1 entry total I think.
Zerenix @ Sep 1st 2009 1:44PM
Corruption was my favorite, as I felt it had the best locations and art out of the series.
cselin @ Sep 1st 2009 1:47PM
i've only played prime 1, but i'm sure the trilogy will be my favorite once i get my hands on it ;)
David @ Sep 1st 2009 1:45PM
I guess the first one, since that was the only one I had enough time to finish.
Saria the Cat @ Sep 1st 2009 1:45PM
Why, my Metroid Prime favorite is Metroid Prime, of course!
Vidikron @ Sep 1st 2009 1:45PM
MP3. Didn't care for the controls of the GC versions.
tcat @ Sep 1st 2009 1:46PM
The first one. But it's the only one I've played.
Giant_Gamer @ Sep 1st 2009 1:47PM
I liked the difficulty of 2 best. I didn't like the Wii controls of MP3 at all.
But I'm posting for my sister, who totally wants me to win this for her.
Marc @ Sep 1st 2009 1:48PM
First Prime all the way i have yet to finish it 100%
JKAntwon @ Sep 1st 2009 1:48PM
I've only played the 3rd one. I never had a game cube. The idea of combining all 3 together works so well for me!
Hostile @ Sep 1st 2009 1:49PM
The first.
Crazylink @ Sep 1st 2009 1:49PM
Already preordered and bought this but whatevs.
Prime 1 was my favorite, but 3 had a flawless control scheme,
A quick question as I haven't had the chance to check myself, does the trilogy include Prime 2's multipayer mode?
sly @ Sep 1st 2009 1:50PM
Gotta go with Corruption.
Dreganfyre @ Sep 1st 2009 1:50PM
Haven't played any Primes yet... That's why I'm entering!
I love Super Metroid though.
Klaymen007 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:51PM
I would have to say MP3 Corruption was the best. Incredible game.
jojosh2 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:53PM
The first Metroid Prime
starfx6464 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:55PM
Gotta go with the original Prime - it started it all. But I have to say that 3 was also awesome and with the point and shoot mechanic. But honestly, Prime 1 just had that intangible feel to it. I would certainly love to go back and play that with Prime 3 controls.
thehunter1320 @ Sep 1st 2009 1:55PM
Metroid Prime 1 is the only one that I ever played, so it is obviously my favorite
although... winning this would open the door to new experiences with 2 and 3 ;)
mcdermr @ Sep 1st 2009 1:56PM
I'll have to go with Metroid Prime as my favorite!
