Rumor: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set to assault DS and DSi

Our second item is a little more interesting. GoNintendo points us toward the latest issue of Nintendo Power, which supposedly reveals TMNT: Arcade Attack, a new title for the DS that utilizes the Turtles in Time formula (see: arcade style beat-em-up). GoNintendo says the game "supports 2-player action, allows you to throw enemies at the screen, and even lets you jump-kick enemies...but in a way that doesn't let you spam the move to victory," though we haven't seen the issue ourselves yet to confirm. If you have it, well, send us a tip!

I did, and I'm a huuuuuugeee TMNT fan.
Speaking of TMNT, anyone excited for Turtles Forever? Shit looks pretty cash

I got the issue. It actually lists arcade attack for Wii. and if it is, honestly...kinda looks like crap. but there's one image that looks like its for DS. I dunno I think there's a misprint. Its supposed to have online co-op and easy to learn controls. so you pretty much got all the details right. it does, however, have old black and white comic book style cutscenes.
So don't worry you're as in on the loop about it as you can get.

There was a TMNT panel at FanExpo in Toronto this weekend, and a TMNT DS game was confirmed by Mirage Studios CEO Gary Richardson. It was said to be more along the lines of the old school TMNT games. It will be released sometime after Smash Up, in the holiday season.
They also showed about 20 mins of a TMNT documentary which looked like an excellent project, and about 20 mins of the upcoming Turtles Forever movie which was AWESOME.
