This Week on the Nintendo Channel: Real people play Professor Layton

Nintendo has made a bold move with Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. Instead of having plastic or cardboard (see: fake) people promote the game, Nintendo has put it into the hands of real flesh-and-blood individuals. Will it pay off for the company to promote the game via the everyman, or should it have stuck with its usual people who have too much money to play games?

So Nintendo's target market is women aged 30-45, with children, bisexual, has a preference to infomercial type ads and with a lower then average intelligence.

No wait.. The other thing. Retarded.
No wonder everyone makes fun of Nintendo now. We just have to wait for the stickers to be slapped on the Wii that says "As seen on TV!"

Painful. Just painful.

Seems they've learnt nothing from the epic fail of the AC: City Folk commercials. Though I guess these are just Nintendo Channel videos rather than actual TV commercials so they won't insult the eyes, ears and intelligence of too many people, even though the sort of people they're targeting with this video (middle-aged women... again...) don't even know or care that the Nintendo Channel (or any downloadable channels) actually exists.
