Little Burger King's promotion for Little King's Story
Marvelous is taking an extra step in Japan to market the upcoming release of Little King's Story, and it's one that makes a lot of sense: the company is partnering with Burger King to promote the strategy game. Burger King restaurants in Japan are displaying the poster depicted to the right, and will also have LKS placemats. According to Andriasang, Burger King's mail magazine will also include Little King's Story information. In addition, a small army of Burger King employees, led by a real little king, will lead an assault on a nearby McDonalds in an attempt to take down Ronald. We may have made that up.It's pretty amazing that Little King's Story is a big enough game to get this kind of promotion, which is reserved in the US for huge franchises. Either that, or Burger King is a small enough operation.

Burger King has been fined dozens of times for not paying employees MINIMUM WAGE in the last few years.
They refuse to pay for overtime.
They don't allow unions.
They receive bailout money and still give ceo's big bonuses.
These are valid reasons to protest Burger king.

Like all fast food outlets, Burger King sucks. However, unlike Adv2k1, I don't think a video game blog is the place to start the ethical food revolution.

Seeing how this is a Japan-only promotion, I can see MMV doing this; however, if this were done... in America, ooh, boy, it's gonna be in the receiving end of a boycott.

Err. ASCII for "heart" leads to a fail post.
ANYWAY.
I love BK's fries. OM NOM NOM.
Also, BK vs. McD gives me DX vs. WCW flashbacks.

I spent some time in Japan. I traveled all around the country.
I saw McDonald's like crazy, Wendy's often, and Subway in Tokyo. Never saw a Burger King.
When my friend moved here from Japan, she asked what made Burger King different from McDonald's, as she had never seen one there.
Therefore, I must assume that they are not common at all, and this is to be taken as a minor promotion at a minor food chain.

Burger King just started to appear in Japan in 2008. Until now they are only located in metropolitan areas.
