Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll into new screens

We suspect that, by allowing ourselves to be charmed by Monkey Ball and its promise of wonderful minigames once again (some kind of Monkey Landspeeder thing!), we're setting ourselves up for crushing disappointment when it turns out not to be as good as Super Monkey Ball 2, like they all have since Super Monkey Ball 2.

Hmm I don't like super monkey ball except on the game cube I even bought the ipod touch version and it was so difficult I complained for a refund
(which I never received)

Super Monkey Ball was better back in the days when it was plainer. It was all about getting from A to B and cursing the level designers. I haven't played Super Monkey Ball 2, but the original was amazing, and it started jumping ship around the time of the DS version. Which is a pity. It was great.
Does this game have the ability to play with the Wiimote or MotionPlus as an alternative play scheme? I don't have the balance board and would like to have the option to get this game.

Super Monkey Ball 2 was the only game that deserved "super" in its name. I'm not pleased about the balance board in this game. This needs the utmost precision to complete.
