VC/WiiWare Friday: At least there's Monkey Island

We can only distract ourselves from our increasing panic with a decent-looking WiiWare selection -- three games, one of which is the first Tales of Monkey Island. And on DSiWare, Guitar Rock Tour, from the shockingly wealthy Gameloft.

- Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 1: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal (WiiWare, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points)
- The Three Musketeers: One for All! (WiiWare, 1-3 players, 700 Wii Points)
- Guitar Rock Tour (DSiWare, 1-4 players, 500 DSi Points)

The VC really lost its steam come the turn of the year - and even then the release schedule was considerably weaker to year's previous.
It's a shame the VC Arcade hasn't been given the push it so sorely deserves. But I guess that might be a question of size limitations rather than a lack of will.

I honestly think its the gamers fault with the lack of VC games because of their boycotting the VC/WiiWare till that storage solution was solved. Nintendo probably felt they didn't want any games.
