The Tower DS being built in miniature
The Tower DS, the latest handheld version of Vivarium's SimTower/The Tower simulation series, has yet to be released outside of Japan, but it's being re-released over there -- or, at least, the last level of it is. The 1,000 point The Tower DS Classic, out August 26, includes the final stage from the DigiToys-published DS game, with tutorials and explanatory text to help players jump right in. The good news, potentially, is that some company is more likely to translate and release a low-risk downloadable game than a cartridge, so there's a more reasonable chance that this smaller Tower will make the move outside of Japan.

If I remember correctly I liked the PC version. I built a 45 story tower and put all the restaurants on the top two floors. Then I made 1 express elevator to get there, and I was Bankrupt.
fun times.

I have the PC version of this and contrary to most everyone else, I liked it! Too bad I don't have a DSi. So far there's just no reason for me to buy one. With two people in the household and two DS devices, a Lite and an original or Phat, can't really justify a DSi. Not yet anyway. But this game was tons of fun. Makes me want to see if I can find my PC version and play it on one of my old computers.

I loved SimTower. Wish it was available for the DS.

I can only redirect you to this article, as I have not played any iteration of Sim Tower: http://bit.ly/simtowerisbottomupgamedesign

Such a shame the GBA version came out so late in that systems life.
Also kinda confusing that we haven't see the DS one released here.
