Scribblenauts: one level, many solutions
This is exactly the kind of thing we wanted to see with Scribblenauts: the same puzzle attempted multiple times, each using different means. A series of videos on Nintendo Raw shows one of the game's puzzles, in which the player is dangled from a rope next to a caged Starite, also suspended, using different items. After the break, we've embedded our favorite take on the puzzle, which earns that distinction for its use of a moustache as a problem-solving item -- wearing it causes the hat to which the rope is suspended to come off. Check Nintendo Raw to see several more attempts, some more successful than others.

When this game comes out, you should run a contest. Have people film their most creative puzzle solutions. Then give out prizes for the most creative, most direct, etc, etc.

I particularly liked the Termite solution ^^
But would someone care to explain me what the hell has a moustache or a monocle have to do with a hat? And why the hell did he die with the magic carpet and with the jetpack? Why didn't they work? Those two videos were kinda lame as those solutions should have worked.

Even as swell as the game sounds, there is way too much of it. +1'd.

Well, to be fair there's only one post about Scribblenauts even on the Nintendo section front page. While there may be a lot of posts about Scribblenauts just by number, the proportion to other stories isn't that bad. Not nearly as ridiculous as the Pachter spree a few weeks ago.
Although there may be an argument as to whether or not this particular video is newsworthy, it doesn't really have anything to do with the number of other Scribblenauts posts. Either way I don't mind them letting us know about this video. It's not like they sacrificed a more important story for this space.

I presume that the player is only allowed one clothing item worn on
their head. That's why a monocle or mustache forces the player to
take off the hat (which the rope is attached to). The hint "hanging
by a thread" is in reference to the hat, which is a type of clothing.
So the player puts on a different type of clothing and is free from
the tyrannous hat.

I don't even have a DS but I might buy one just for this game...

Anyone who says they've had enough Scribblenauts has either never played it or is a massive fool.
