Europeans had a
long wait for
Professor Layton's first adventure -- just under 9 months, to be exact -- but for the second installment of the series, the wait will be much shorter.
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, which is set aboard a cross-country steam train, will be available in Europe on
September 25, just one month after its
US release. We understand that two pieces of data do not make a trend, but if this continues, Europeans may get their hands on the third game only
days after their American counterparts.

And they'll get the fourth game even BEFORE we do! And the fifth before Japan! And the sixth before it's even made! LOGIC!

Or they can play it right now, if they buy it here: http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-buyj-71-ba-77-1-49-en-15-layton-84-j-70-28u2.html since DS games are not region protected.

As long as Level-5 keep the borderline offensive English accents (because everybody on our glorious island is from public school, amirite?) then I’m in.

Wait, you mean the so-called mockney, or VA duties by Maria Darling?

Also, while completely off-topic, it is good to note that a new Kirby-like JPN only title utilising the new "slide" DS addon will be available for the whole week for only USD 9.90 (slide addon is bundled). http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-buyj-71-9g-49-en-84-j-70-21px.html
After the promo is over, the game will be back to its usual cost of USD 49.90

Oh, well. Sorry, everyone. I was wrong. The correct link to Diabolical Box is here http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-buyj-71-ba-49-en-15-layton-84-j-70-3f99.html and it´s not available yet. You can still get it a few days earlier if you get the US one, but it´s not as cool as it would have been had I not made the error...

I'm glad Europe gets it earlier this time. Now lets hope it doesn't take another 18 months for the USA or Europe to get the 3rd one, etc....
