One of the Idolmaster idols is a boy

A few days ago, it was revealed that idol Hidaka Ai is the daughter of a former idol who had to leave the business after becoming pregnant with Ai at age 16. Now, a new video reveals that another of the idols, Akizuki Ryo, is a boy disguised as a girl. Who knew these fictional idols had such complicated lives? The news has actually increased interest among users of Japan's Nicovideo site.
The video, from Namco Bandai's own Idolm@ster channel on Nicovideo, is embedded after the break.

I demand a North American release as soon as possible.

Mark, the problem is, Namco Bandai already made it clear to niche gamers that it would rather milk Dragon Ball dry, instead of spending a fortune, promoting "Big in Japan, niche... in America!" titles like Tales, Xenosaga, Super Robot Wars: OG, Summon Night, and Ar Tonelico, to name a few.
However, should Namco Bandai allow niche specialists like Atlus USA and NIS America to localize some of their IP's, it charges them Dragon Ball-levels of money, in terms of licensing.
Guess how many times the original amount Namco Bandai charges to have their games licensed out?
IT'S OVER 9000!

I would have preferred a real MAN, signing girly songs with his awesome voice all while wearing skimpy outfits to reveal his manly muscles.

Oh, not only Namco Bandai's depriving us of this, but now, they're also going to drop a Bridget on us? >_>

You know, I'd post the obligatory Ackbar pic here but that would just be too easy.

There are quite a few Japanese visual kei bands that have extremely convincing cross dressed members. Just google image "visual kei".

It's just localized glam rock in Japan.

I read that and I'm not sure that I really understood a single word of it, nor am I sure that I want too. The headline just seemed interesting...
