If you've been keeping score at home you'd know we are pretty excited for
Tales of Graces and its
spider-legged tanks. Like recent entries in the famed
Tales of franchise, the upcoming Wii-exclusive JRPG showcases a simple and colorful art style, but based on the game's second trailer we can't help but notice the world looks suspiciously barren. Could the limited NPCs be a story element? Perhaps the spider-legged tanks are to blame! Our actual guess? Everyone in the world is away to training camp, preparing for the upcoming brawl that is
Tales of VS. Check out the full trailer for
Tales of Graces after the break.

Looks pretty good, Im excited to get a good RPG finally on a next gen system not 360... with WKC coming to ps3 soon looks like JRPGs are starting to branch out to other systems

Dude, it's not next gen anymore, it's been out for three years now.

I call dibs on its being Japan-only, unless if Namco Bandai can ass rape another company to license it off to.,
Bluebreaker @ Jun 23rd 2009 1:23AM
God, I hope not! Namco is really screwy when it comes to Tales. I hoped Vesperia and Dawn would finally be the end to the JP only thing but they seem determined to keep the DS games that way,
Matias @ Jun 23rd 2009 8:15PM
Doubt it wil be japan only, because DotNW was the second best selling tales outside japan (the first beign ToS), so there is a big chance they bring it here.
Tim @ Jun 23rd 2009 9:02PM
In Namco Bandai's eyes, Dragon Ball is profitable, in comparison to Namco Bandai's in-house Tales, Summon Night (localized by Atlus USA), and SRW: OG (again, localized by Atlus USA) combined.
Guess how many times the prior is profitable, in comparison to the latter three?
That's right: IT'S OVER 9000!

@Matias
So that's why when I asked people if they've played Tales of the Abyss say, "No, but I've played Tales of Symphonia!"
Abyss is the better game... 8[

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Best battle system ever.
And Sophie looks like she can dick shit up on her own, unlike a few main heroines I can think of. (I'm looking at you Colette and Marta)

It's quite sad that not all Tales titles ever get localized... and why make it a Wii exclusive only?
S. Tiger @ Jun 23rd 2009 9:02PM
Because more people own a Wii?
vhayste @ Jun 23rd 2009 9:14PM
@S.Tiger
That may be one of the reasons. But if they really want to earn or get the most buyers, why not make it multi-platform?
S. Tiger @ Jun 23rd 2009 11:01PM
Find one good RPG where they released it on multiple platforms upon the FIRST release. That's right good sir, you cannot. Rereleases and ports do not count.
vhayste @ Jun 23rd 2009 11:16PM
Oh well, I am not arguing about it anyway. You just cleared things up for me. Thanks.
S. Tiger @ Jun 24th 2009 2:37AM
No prob, dood.
Also, I just beat Tales of the Abyss and I suggest everyone whom has commented on this news go and play it right now. A good 100+ RPG including the side-quests.
