Newegg takes a bite out of The Munchables' price
Newegg is currently offering copies of Namco Bandai's food-themed adventure The Munchables for just $16.99, with free shipping. This seems like a rather sudden and drastic price drop, the kind that might be a mistake, so don't tarry if you're thinking of picking it up.The Munchables has actually been getting reasonably good (if not glowing) reviews, so at this low price, it might be worth a look. That is, of course, only if you have a high tolerance for weirdness. This is a game in which all the enemies are vegetables, after all, and you fight by eating them. Don't pick this up if the majority of your games are about World War II or something.

It is not a mistake. here have been many games moved to the $16.99 price point on their site. The lineup mostly consists of games no one wants or are simply old.
(For the record, I am not judging the quality of the game.)

I'm surprised by this news as The Munchables is a very fun game.
I recommend any Wii owners who enjoyed Katamari Damacy check out gameplay footage of The Munchables on YouTube. Blockbuster charges $7-8 for a Wii game rental. Why not spend a little over double that amount to own the game?
