This Week on the Nintendo Channel: Summer of DS

Nintendo is planning a full-on assault of DS advertising this summer, evidence by this week's Nintendo Channel updates. In following around one family, the TV spots will show they they keep them from taking a detour into Boredsville during their vacation through use of the DS and DSi. Of course, as with just about any Nintendo DS advertising campaign, all we see them playing is some Brain Age and Mario Kart. But, hey, it's worth watching alone for the hilarious put-downs of one Garret Morris, trust us.

Wow, did someone film my family when I wasn't looking? Because that is exactly how we are when we play video games together.

Nothing like your mom or dad shit talking when playing Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tetris and dare I say it...Wii fracking Fit.

That hula game brings out the worst.

This week is all Lego Battles for me. Got the game at day 1 and not a single moment of regret. Best DS RTS evar ;) I only wonder why they haven´t simply named it Lego Warcraft, when it´s such a blatant copy. A great copy, at that.
