Namco Bandai grants European Dragon Ball fans' wishes

According to Namco Bandai's press release, the Wii platformer, now called Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo, will also include a versus mode, meaning that almost two new Dragon Ball fighting games were announced. Neither Namco Bandai nor Atari have announced any North American plans for any of these games, but it's only a matter of time.

I am ready for some Tenkaichi goodness right about now.I just hope they make a unique story for it instead of overusing the original story for every game.

I believe that DS game is the sequel to Origins.

It isn't. Origins ends after the first tournament. this new DBZ game covers the new DragonBall Kai series. That and it's an RPG.
BPMOmega [GT,Steam] @ May 25th 2009 2:26PM
Ah, I thought Origins and DBKai were related. My mistake.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that DBE made more money outside of the US.

I can easily see Namco Bandai America try to milk what's left of the Dragon Ball udders, which Atari dried up for all its worth.

Awesome. There aren't enough Dragon Ball games out there, just Advance Adventure and Origins that I can recall as recent DB games, and I'd like one that can cover the entire scope of that series.

I loved Dragonball Origins and I'm gonna grab Advance Adventure soon, so I couldn't be more excited about the Wii release.
