Ubisoft to answer the question of how MotionPlus-enhanced soccer works

Academy of Champions is a new Wii soccer game that will feature soccer stars Pelé and Mia Hamm, as well as that kid with the weird-looking face. The game features a "rich, story-driven adventure" taking place in a fictitious soccer-centered school. Players "improve their skills, recruit new team members and build the best possible squad," making the game sound rather like a soccer-themed RPG (which isn't that outlandish).

Why Ubisoft? Why can't I just get Real Soccer on WiiWare? Why must you waste time on this game?

What's wrong with their faces? Is that castle a nuclear waste dump?

Me thinks that drawn concept art didn't translate to 3d very well.
I mean the blue haired kid is so goofy I can't even manage to read the article!

my guess is you put the wiimote in your sock, just be sure to put the strap around your ankle.

Not a bad idea if implemented in the game correctly.

Can they focus on fixing the art style before they worry about a story?
Hardy @ May 21st 2009 1:57AM
Did you even read what you said?
It's an ART STYLE. You can't "fix" a style. Change perhaps.
That's like saying the Mona Lisa needs to be fixed because it's style is wrong.

Please tell me that image is edited... They couldn't possibly have thought such ugly character designs was a good idea... could they?

God, they're so ugly.
