Bakugan: Battle Brawlers screens roll out for Wii and DS

Activision is readying a video game version for the Wii and DS later this year, and we've got some of the first screens from the ball-rolling battler. There's actually a neat little mechanic in the real version, featuring magnets that cause your ball to pop open into a little fighting creature or robot when you roll it over one of the cards. Check out the full gallery below and try to avoid making any ball-related jokes. We know, it's nigh impossible.

Bakugan! I have seen one episode of Bakugan and all I know about Bakugan is that they tend to say Bakugan over and over again.

In the battle of toy/game turned into animated TV series, you can't beat Transformers (as for the movie, it's still debated... Michael Bay's awfulness or Megan Fox's hotness? HMMM.)

This is THE toy among my son and his 1st grade classmates. I don't think most of them even know how to play the game.
It is good for math practice though. Use it so my son can practice adding and subtracting numbers in the hundreds.
