Scribblenauts coming this fall, thanks to Warner Bros. [update]
[Update: New trailer! Go watch it!]5th Cell's completely insane "write anything" platformer Scribblenauts just got one step closer to release: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that it had acquired the publishing rights to the game and will release it in North America this fall. Hopefully WB can spare some of the money it's gathered in its nine decades of business to advertise a DS game!
In case you'd somehow forgotten about one of the coolest DS game ideas ever, Scribblenauts asks players to discover and reach hidden "Starites" in levels using items generated by written words. Check out the new screens WBIE sent with the announcements! Apparently you can make a band.

Definitely keeping my eye on this one. When the devs say "anything," they mean it -- any non-proper noun in the dictionary will work.

YES!!

I wonder if you can solve any of these problems with dicks

Unfortunately no, the devs said nothing vulgar would be in the game. So they just lost a sale (maybe 2?). :)

Ah, there is still hope left!

I am interested in getting this game just to experiment with what I can get away with writing.

well i am still totally buying it, its just a bummer i cant make a sling shot and put a dick in it and then shoot at a hooker or something to make her fall into a star or something.

It disturbs me that there are people out there that think this and their thoughts are "penis in a slingshot"

Welcome to the internets.

The best part about this game is that people are going to actually have to learn how to spell.

YES! That would be great. The illiterate trolls won't be guying this one though. Who cares. They're doomed to troll forever anyway.
