Deca Sports was such garbage. WTF is wrong with you people buying it?

Yo, If they do as announced and offer another 10 games, including "motorcycle road racing... hockey... dodge ball, tennis and darts," (which sound fun), tighten the controls, add decent online play, and a slew of customizations, and keep this at the $29.99 budget price of the first Deca Sports and Hudson's other disc-based Wii offerings of late, then I think this will be something to look out for!
...That is, if you enjoyed the first or are still looking for something in the Wii-sports vein.

And to answer the "WTF is wrong with you people for buying it?" question and the dubbing of Deca Sports success as "shameful" by Alexander/Joystiq just hours ago, I'll reiterate what I mentioned before:
I think that bloggers and "gaming journalists" - for the most part - have seriously failed to develop a metric to evaluate casual sports games like Deca Sports. The game has been fun for everyone I've played w/ it -- anecdotal evidence for sure, but the 2m sales speak for themselves -- and it exceeds as a casual title w/ twice the content of Wii sports and a variety of games that hadn't been done to death when it arrived early in the Wii's life.
Hudson is actually a respectable developer and not some fly-by-night Wii shovelware company. They put a lot more time and effort into developing this title then other "casual" title developers on the system, they reached out to fans about what sports people wanted to see in the game and what the name would be, put effort into marketing the title, they delivered an easy to pick up and play title that found its audience despite mixed reviews...
I do understand the logic that some people "hate" these games out of fear that developers will put their resources into "lazy casual" offerings instead of "core games," but that didn't stop Hudson from releasing Onslaught, Alien Crush Returns, it's best Bomberman in years, Star Soldier Collection, Marble Saga: Kororinpa and the upcoming Adventure Island Wii(ware)-make and Military Madness (Wii/Ps3/Xbox).
