Retailers suggest April release for Rhythm Heaven
Rhythm Heaven could be out in North America on April 5th, according to listings on the websites of Amazon and Best Buy. Gamefly lists the 7th, but their release dates are uniformly a couple of days behind the official one. Nintendo has yet to specify the release date for the WarioWare team's rhythm microgame collection beyond the "first half" of the year. At least Amazon moved their date up from November!
Siliconera notes that Nintendo has scheduled one first-party DS game for every month in the first quarter: Personal Trainer: Math in January, Fire Emblem in February, and Pokémon Platinum in March. Rhythm Heaven could be their one game in April! It could also be the "launch game" for the DSi, also rumored to come out in April.

Sweet. I can't wait for Rhythm Heaven! I just hope it sells well and they release the original, too.

I can't help but always vote + for your comments, samfish, because your avatar pic brings back awkward adolescent fantasies...
...as do those in game shots, but that's another a story for another time.

Another day, another ONE whole story that's about an actual DS game on here, out of the four tagged for DS. (The Mario/Sonic Olympics rumour one doesn't really count.)
Sigh.
Well, I said last week I'd give it another week or two to see if things improve around here before I bail out, but it doesn't look good.
Seriously, post-redesign, the amount DS-specific game info on here has plunged through the floor. No matter how you spin it, this place has rapidly gone from being a daily must-visit to... well to be honest it's hard to find a reason to come here. There's so little actual content to speak of.
The King is dead, long live... oh wait, the King is dead... :-(

That might be less to do with the redesign (same style, same staff, same stuff), and more to do with the fact that there's bog all happening.
'tis all eerily quiet before the DSiStorm.
Foozwah @ Feb 11th 2009 5:36PM
True, or at least, I hope you're right! Maybe I spoke too soon anyway; today seems a bit more on-form.
It possibly seems a bit worse as I kinda miss some of the more unique features of DS Fanboy, e.g. Bury the Shovelware, the updates on homebrew (it was DS Fanboy articles that convinced me I should finally shell out for a Cyclo cart to get my hands on some of the cooler homebrew doing the rounds.), etc.
Fingers crossed it all comes good. Not too excited myself inre: DSi, will wait and see if it's worth getting specifically for any DS-only titles, but I quite like GBA compatability (sold my GBA SP when got DS), and I'm not keen on reduced battery life...

Yeah, I'd take some Rhythm Heaven on the side with my DSi.
