Funchuks: they're more fun than regular Nunchuks because they're colorful
Happy Tiny Wii Controllers Day! We're celebrating the first TWCD by posting ... tiny Wii controllers! Either that or it's a total coincidence that two news items about tiny Wii controllers have shown up today. We prefer the explanation that makes today a holiday.
Logic3's Nunchuk Mini, also called "Funchuks" in the press release, are basically smaller Nunchuks in a bunch of different colors, all with jaunty green analog sticks. Despite the fact that they cost exactly as much as Nintendo's official Nunchuk but lack Nintendo's reputation for quality, we find these things enchanting. They're small, you see. We want to buy all of them and use a different one every day.

Great, more quicktime minigames on the wii...
SoshiKitai @ Feb 5th 2009 6:21PM
Not sure... those Nunchuks look uncomfortably small (maybe it's just the angle), Nintendo might not sue if the size-design isn't preferred by buyers. :P

Dude... it's a third party accessory. Logic3 isn't stupid; I'm certain they have gotten the clear from Nintendo (in fact, Nintendo probably gets a cut of the share). There are plenty of registered third party accessories for Wii, and there has always been third party controllers for every Nintendo system... geez, have people forgotten about third party accessories altogether?
Anyways, not all of the controllers have green analog sticks; the black and white ones have gray. And you can't use a different one every day, as there is only six and there are seven days.
Oh, and I want, if they weren't so pricey.

Logic-3 calls those funsuits...
Markez @ Feb 6th 2009 12:48AM
And ol' Hillary calls funsuits, pantsuits.
Ahhhh, I couldn't resist. Terrible.
SoshiKitai @ Feb 6th 2009 4:30PM
Wait... hasn't Nintendo sued a 3rd-party before?
Y'know, cuz their controller design was too close to their own.
3rd-parties have made things without the OK from 1st-parties before.

If there's one thing I was thinking the last time I had to hold Z and use the D-pad for a significant period of time, it definitely wasn't "I wish this nunchuck was smaller."
boltu222 @ Feb 5th 2009 8:14PM

Anyone else think that the title was "fuckchucks"?
Rocketboy @ Feb 6th 2009 8:26AM
Funchucks, more like UpChucks.
JKAntwon @ Feb 6th 2009 8:59AM
So much negativity. I saw these and thought my 4 yr old little girl could really use these! They're also in fun colors that kids would like! I approve!
