Hudson confirms new Adventure Island and online FPS for WiiWare
This June, none other than Hudson's Master Higgins himself, Takahashi Meijin, revealed early plans to make a new Adventure Island game for the Wii. We've heard almost nothing since then, until today!Hudson has told WiiWare World that a new Adventure Island is on the way to Europe for this April. We can assume it'll show up worldwide at some point as well, like every other Hudson WiiWare game.
In addition, the company has announced a new WiiWare FPS called Onslaught, whose defining characteristic is that it isn't Adventure Island. We're willing to look past that flaw, however, for a four-player online multiplayer WiiWare FPS (seriously) about "blasting a massive number of enemy creatures to feel the exhilaration". Onslaught is set for European release in March.

Just what we need....more FPS......blah! I myself will not be purchasing any Wii-ware or VC games due to the inability to play the games on two systems. A lot of families have a system for their kids and a system for themselves. It is rediculous that I would need to buy a game twice so that my kids can play the same game. Hopefully they will eventually allow at least two systems on one shopping account. Until then, no sale.

you can buy 2 consoles, and your crying about not having enough money. Come on now.
Anyway I really like Adventure island so this is a great surprise.

@ Adolph
Crying about not having enough money? No. But I shouldn't HAVE to buy the game twice to play it on two consoles that I own. It's not that difficult for them to auto-code the game to work on two registered systems. The fact that they lock the game to only one system in the name of "anti-piracy" is bologna.
This seems to be a trend in digital media. I will only spend my hard earned money on media that I have control of, at least within the boundaries of my own devices. It seems that I only have that choice with physical media, so that's where my money will be spent. Simple as that.

You do know you can always dump the wiiware channel from one console and install it in the other via the channel installer right?
You'd only need to softmood your Wii and install the channel installer. As for dumping the WiiWare channel, i don't know how its done

This is like the 100th time I've run into someone spelling "ridiculous" as "rediculous" after watching a flash cartoon making fun of that.
... sorry to be a 'hole, but it's "ridiculous". :)

Man I read that title as "Hudson confirms new Adventure Island -AN- online FPS..." and was reeaaaaaalllly confused as to why Adventure Island was going to be a FPS.
