Full Guitar Hero: Metallica track list revealed, Wii version arriving late
It looks like we might get our wish: Guitar Hero: Metallica will consist mostly of songs from the band's first five albums, with only eleven post-1991 tracks appearing. Metallica's official site has leaked the full track list, which also contains twenty songs from artists such as Queen, System of a Down, Slayer, Motörhead, and Thin Lizzy. You can view the full line-up past the break.
Also, some less-than-great news: the release of the Wii version is set to lag behind the competition. Whereas the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be ready for March 29, Metallica themselves (or whoever writes on the website pretending to be the band) say we can expect the game "in the Spring, most likely in early May." Sad But True, indeed.

wii owners get screwed again. it will also probably have mono sound only (gh3), or have super small text and note charts because its in HD resolution even though the graphics are tuned down (ghwt). for once i would like to see a wii version that is not completely messed up in some say. it always gets released later, yet still has so many bugs.
its like developers aren't even gamers any more, that's why gaming is so sad these days.
Rocketboy @ Jan 26th 2009 3:13PM
What are you talking about? You're getting screwed if you buy this regardless of the platform.
Spike @ Jan 26th 2009 3:21PM
aside from graphics and the release date, RB2 is pretty much the same on the wii as on the 360 and PS3, so i say buy that, and stop bawing
bukizzle715 @ Jan 26th 2009 3:53PM
Damn, that's why the text is so friggin' hard to read. Would an HD tv fix that problem, or is it non-fixable because the Wii doesn't ouput in HD?
KIMP @ Jan 26th 2009 3:27PM
Why the delay for the Wii version?
This is ANNOYING!
Hope Activision doesnt go the EA/MTV/Harmonix way...

Does anyone think One will be charted the exact same way it was in GH3, or maybe different this time around? Seeing as how everyone cried about overcharting, I bet they make some changes.

Why don't you guys buy a PS3 or a 360 already. Whats so good about the Wii anyway. Ive played it several times and couldnt find anything good to say about it. Nintendo is dead as far as I am concerned. As for GH:Metallica, I'm looking forward to the double bass. It should be a challenge. Gotta give the dev team props for not bringing us the same setup everytime a new game is released. However, "And Justice for All" and "Blackened" should be on this game. Looking forward to full band on Greatest Hits also!
