Overkill tells us a story in latest trailer
Sega of Europe has unleashed a new trailer for House of the Dead: Overkill focusing on the story behind the on-rails shooter. It has appropriate levels of zombie carnage, as well as G himself, doing what he does best. Who can turn down anything to do with G? Not us, that's for sure! Check out the video above, then head into our gallery to see those new screens you may have missed from earlier in the week.

See, if I wasn't already eager to get this game, this commercial would make me want to get it less. The commercial is so incredibly bad and sounds like it's by an old man trying to connect with the youth. I hope that's at least the point, since House of the Dead has always been about being so bad, it's good.

See, if I wasn't already eager to get this game, this commercial would make me want to get it even more! The commercial is so incredibly awesome and sounds like it's by an old man trying to connect with old school grindhouse movies. I hope people know that's at least the point, since House of the Dead has always been about being so bad, it's good.

No, this commercial made me want the game. Seriously. Even with the super horrid on purpose voice.
I think the line "Ever gonna tell us what that fucking G stands for?" "Nope." part made me want the game.

Hahahahaha! "When there's no more room in Bayou City, the dead shall walk the Earth". Love the old Dawn of the Dead tagline reference there, glad to see that they know and understand the roots of the genre that they're covering. "...putting the hot in shotgun". This is going to be great!

Now that he mentioned it, what does that mother-fuckin' G stand for?
DaisukeKiriyama @ Jan 23rd 2009 10:36PM
Oh god, this thing is so cheesy that it's good.
Want so bad, especially with those Hand Cannons, or at least one since I got me a Perfect Shot for this game.

Got this on pre-order. Should rock. Its purposely voiced badly. I'm pretty sure its the same guy who voiced the grindhouse movies. This game has planet terror written all over it and apparently has the most swearing in any game made.

that was awesome. to those of you who dont get it ...it's suppose to be be so bad that its good.
