Capcom reassures Australia

The good folks from Capcom PR just mailed us to say that Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop wouldn't be moved from its original Aussie and Kiwi release date of February 27, and that future Wii titles such as MotoGP and Neopets Puzzle Adventure would still be released "in line" with other PAL territories.

Heh, I find it funny how Australia was meant to boost our tourism industry, but the only place in the world it didn't flop was Oz (although many people down under thought it was shit boring). It made the news here when it wasn't nominated for an Oscar.
Oh, and your post has an error. New Zealand isn't a country - it's a state of Australia. Except they are special as they are the only State which have their own Prime Minister and special laws regarding sex with animals.

Maui legend has it the entire island is a giant fish...

Do you mean Māori?
Becuase Maui is the second largest Hawaiian island, whereas the Māori people are the original inhabitants of New Zealand.

By the way, which island was a giant fish? Australia?

*shakes fist at weird spelling*
I believe the bottom half of new zealand was the fish and the top half was something it was eating... or something along those lines anyway.

You mean the North island is meant to be a fish.
So take that!

Maui is also the name of the man who, according to Maori legend, fished up the North Island (his 'ika'). It's a common legend throughout the Pacific. We have it in New Zealand, but they also have it in Tonga, French Polynesia, pretty much anywhere that Polynesian people settled.
