The Trailer: Felix Meets Felicity

The latest issue of Nintendo Power was pretty harsh on Felix in its review, awarding the game a (literally) middling 5.0. Of course, they had more time to play it than we did, but we feel like it was more enjoyable than that! We remain hopeful for the final game. It's just so fresh and unusual!

It does have a similar path drawing mechanic to Canvas Curse (a good thing IMO!).. but looks a lot more fast paced and arcadey to me.
It's got that visceral sort of smashing-through-a-bunch-of-enemies-and-having-them-explode-into-masses-of-fruit feel. Like Bubble Bobble.

Maybe it's the completely ass art style of the game that's pushing down the review scores. It looks like someone made a squid-people like of Bratz dolls.
