Phantasy Star Zero confirmed for North America

If this rough shot of the most recent copy of Nintendo Power is to be believed, Phantasy Star Zero will hit North American shelves this fall. A reader sent the photo in to our friends at GoNintendo, and posters at NeoGAF also report the Nintendo Power cover. Word of mouth on the game has been incredibly positive, so we would be excited even if we weren't talking about Phantasy Star Zero. But we are, so that means we're over the moon. Are you as excited as we are? If not, maybe you should check out a trailer.Oh, and we should also mention that Sega just sent us a press release confirming the game will release in Europe.

I wish they'd make a real Phantasy Star game again...
Phantasy Star IV is still one of my favorite games.
Could never really get into the online ones.

Phantasy Star Universe has an offline story mode. Not sure if it's any good as I haven't played it yet, but I found it for pretty cheap so I picked it up and I'll give it a shot when I get through the rest of my game backlog.

Awesome. I'll probably import the US version- this is one game well worth the asking price. I downloaded the jap version and got it working after a lot of fuss, and was very satisfied with the results ( even if i can tell its the kinda game thats gonna cause crazy hand cramp).

I got this issue yesterday. So yeah, it's legit. Lots of RPGs coming. Is it bad the one I was most interested in was "Mario & Luigi 3"?

OH my shit, I care not for the late release date because I'm relieved to hear it's actually gonna be released here. This is great times for all.
PSO is the only Gamecube game I didn't sell off in the transition to Wii (backwards compatible, yeah yeah, I know - but I had to raise the money for the system through some means), and truthfully, I never even went online in that game.
So very excited to see this being made available on a console that I own! My ladyfriend and I can farm rag rappies together! JOY!
