7-in-1 charging cable is the solution to all of life's problems
... Provided that your problems are entirely limited to ownership of many recent handheld gaming devices, and inability to manage the large number of wall chargers required for such a collection. But if you find yourself burdened by too many wall warts, this item from Brando will change your life.
Basically, it's USB on one end (for your "USB solts"), and ... Game Boy Advance SP, DS, DS Lite, DSi, and PSP on the other. This single, compact, $7 item charges any of those handhelds through your computer's USB port (or your Wii's, for that matter).
Now for the standard disclaimer: there's a certain element of fear when dealing with a company like Brando for something like guiding electricity into your expensive devices. We've used some Dragon USB charging cable for the DS Lite for months with nothing to report but convenience, but your mileage may vary! As far as off-brand accessories go, a cable seems pretty okay, but we don't feel comfortable being the authority on that.

In our family (5 DS lites) I need a cord that has at least 3 DS lite plugs on one end.

I have wall outlets all over the place. I only have USB ports at my computer, and a select few other devices, all of which are located near wall outlets anyway.
Additionally, a wall outlet can supply much more power than a USB port, in case you want to charge multiple devices at once without it taking an entire week.

You can get wall chargers that have USB ports on them. They sell them at Wal-Mart and come with certain cell phones now (so they don't have to send you a USB cord AND a seperate wall charger). Just purchase one of those and charge away.

I got this off ebay the other day:
DS, USB, PSP, iPod charger. If it could also charge a Nokia phone I'd be really happy.

Can you charge multiple systems at once? If you can, I'm sold.

the problem here is that to actually BOTH play AND charge these items you need to get at least 300ma to them.
If a computer doesn't get a proper USB 2.0 signal from the device than it SHOULD (may not) limit the current to USB 1.1 levels of only 100ma which is fine for trickle charging the battery but not running the system.
Cheap device = just a cord
so don't get your hopes up.

yeas, you can charge multiple systems at once, but if you use the cable for data connections AND charge at the same time, it doesnt work anymore.
but charging all you handhelds at the same time is fine.
