Drumming to Super Mario Bros. 3
He's back at it again. Following up his incredible display centered around Super Mario Bros. 2, drummer extraordinaire Andrea Vadrucci has put together another video of himself. This time, he's banging out some key tunes in Super Mario Bros. 3. As one would expect, his execution is near flawless and, well, it's just a great video to watch. Check it out already.

When you look at him, it almost feels like it's going at double speed. Wow.

Dude, this guy is awesome. Someone should get him together with the Video Game Pianist (Martin Leung) or something. And there's always room for another rockin' video game band....

ha that was great

How old is that clip? Or is that guy just stuck in the late 80's/early 90's?

Wow... That was really amazing. He had a pretty hefty drum set to boot... But god that must have been tiring. I drummed back in my high school days but it was a basic snare, bass, hi-hat, 3 toms, and a crash and a ride cymbal. It's kinda sitting in my parent's family room collecting dust right now... I went back to piano, which I enjoy more, but I'd love to start drumming again if I ever get the time, especially since I love playing along with video game music.

I have a feeling Rock Band drumming would be a joke for him. Just a hunch.

Where are the microphones that recorded all this drumming in amazing quality
pjh @ Jan 4th 2009 11:38PM
Hmm, good question.

They are there. If you knew anything about drumming anyway you'd see them.
