Deals for Guitar Heroes of all levels
If you're one of the eight individuals on the planet yet to acquire Guitar Hero Something, roughly now would be a good time to start. In a heartwarming display of post-festive cheer bid to rid itself of excess stock, the troubled Circuit City is offering savings on two Guitar Hero game/guitar bundles: Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, both for $47.99.
Alternatively, if you're a grizzled, orange-button-happy Guitar Hero veteran whose home and life is being gradually consumed by plastic peripherals, Amazon is willing to sell you Guitar Hero World Tour for $34.99 -- sans another instrument.

I am so disinterested in any of these games... Don't think I'd play if I somehow received free copies. But to each, his own -of course.

I picked up GH III and GH Aerosmith at my local Target the other day for $24.98 each.

The bundles, BTW. The games alone were still regular price.

I really don't have too many peripherals, but I was considering selling my Gibson from III. I bought III and Efosmith at their retail prices ($90)

Hey, my bad. They were that price but the Xbox versions. Thought I clicked on a X3FB link in my reader...oops!

Didn't take long, but these games are becoming shovelware. Guess you people can use those crappy plastic guitars to dig your way out of the pile of crap. (Can you tell I'm not a fan of these games?)

"Guess you people can use those crappy plastic guitars to dig your way out of the pile of crap."
Using shovels made of crap to dig yourself out of crap just doesn't seem very sensible to me.

That's ok, because your favorite game sucks.

Man, I made out like a bandit on this one. I went to Best Buy to pick up a second guitar for Rock Band. A Rock Band 2 guitar was $70, the GH III bundle was $49. I bought the bundle, turned around and sold the Disk on ebay for $40, and walked out with a sweet Gibson for $10.
The Gibson, to me, is highly preferable to the Rock Band guitar.
