Wario World. Still have a couple levels left and a lot of collecting to do. But I haven't picked it up in a month. Also My Sims Kingdom. Animal Crossing quickly replaced it, but I'm not planning on going back to that one. It is in the sell/trade pile.
hylianpsy @ Dec 26th 2008 8:35AM
Metroid Prime 3. I had a suspicion MP just wasn't my type of game, and boy was I right...
Sisyphus @ Dec 26th 2008 8:42AM
Trauma Center: NB, RE4, LoZ:LttP (again) are all games I've made progress on, but never find myself going back to continue. Perhaps eventually.
manyquestions @ Dec 26th 2008 10:13AM
I kind of forgot about Zack and Wiki for some reason. I should go finish that, but now I'm busy with Sonic Unleashed.
Hardy @ Dec 26th 2008 10:13AM
Never finished Zelda for the Wii and No More Heroes, and Zack and Wiki.
Yeah I know, awesome games. I'll get to them. lol
Mr Khan @ Dec 26th 2008 11:21AM
FFTA2 and Izuna 2, both because the final challenges (bosses for the former, dungeon for the latter) are too damn hard. Oddly enough, same thing for FFIII DS.
LordD @ Dec 26th 2008 11:23AM
No More Heroes. I need to get back to that one...
Red Confession @ Dec 26th 2008 11:04PM
Agreed. It's a great game, but school forced me to shelve it and I've been meaning to pick it up again.
ROb @ Dec 26th 2008 11:24AM
Metroid Prime 3 - so sad, because I think I need to start from scratch on it, since i'm totally lost to where i was. Super Mario Galaxy got in the way of this one.
Super Paper Mario - I enjoyed the game a lot, especially at first, but it just didn't hold my interest. Things like Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime 3 just took over from this one, and I haven tried to pick it back up since.
Trauma Center: New Blood - My wife loves all those "Dr. G", "Autopsy" and "Grey's Anatomy" shows, so I thought it would be cool to do some surgeries with her. We played it twice (and it was freaking AWESOME!) but she hasn't been in to picking it back up...
Super Mario Galaxy - I was playing through every star for this one, but it just died off after a bit. I still pick this up every few weeks and get another couple of stars, but I haven't had the time to just sit down and drill through it. Still Alive; not forgotten.
DaisukeKiriyama @ Dec 26th 2008 11:31AM
I haven't finished The Force Unleashed yet since finishing MP3 got in the way.
And today I plan to buy a couple of Wii games making this even harder.
Big Wes @ Dec 26th 2008 11:41AM
I'm playing through RE4 right now, but that will probably be put on the back burner when COD:WAW gets here. Come on overnight shipping!
Peter @ Dec 26th 2008 11:51AM
I played the first hour of Okami, loved it, then shelved it to finish Chrono Trigger DS first. Once I finish CT, I'll pick up where I left off in Okami and start playing Persona 4 again as well. (Playing an ARPG and a JRPG at the same time is fine; trying to play two JRPGs at the same time can be troublesome.)
I haven't picked up Zack & Wiki for a while, but that's likely because I have other games to clear out of my queue first and I only paid $8 for Z&W at Toys R Us. It's an excellent game, but I can only play so many games at the same time.
I just got Mercury Meltdown Revolution recently and really liked it. I'll probably play that as the mood strikes. The same goes for Boom Blox. Both are excellent games, but best in small doses.
I stopped playing Mario Kart Wii a few months ago, but would be willing to play again if I found a group of active players to play with online.
I played Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros. Brawl through to the start of the Great Maze, then lost interest. I would play online if the lag didn't make the game nearly unplayable.
I would play games like MKWii and SSBB more often if I had friends in the area who played video games, but right now, it's just me and my wife.
I finished the main quest in Super Mario Galaxy, but stopped short of collecting the purple coins.
My wife and I still play Rayman Raving Rabbids and Wii Sports when we're in the mood for party games.
I don't think there's a bad game in my Wii library (with the possible exception of Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, and that stings because I paid full retail price). It's just difficult for me to stay interested in any one game for an extended period (with the notable exceptions of Chrono Trigger DS and Persona 3).
buffalo_aaa @ Dec 26th 2008 12:09PM
me and you both, man. I feel the same way about MKWii and SSB. If I had some friends in the area that actually LIKED video games, it would be whole other story, but my lady and I are it. You aren't in Los Angeles, are you? haha.
SSB's lag is too crippling to make it playalbe online, though I play MKWii online a lot more (I play with my sister and parents who live on the east coast).
I hate to say it but I put down No More Heroes. I play it like once, maybe twice a month. I'm stuck at a boss that I just can't seem to beat and my frustrations get the better of me.
I also never finsihed The Phantom Hourglass on the DS. I just dreaded going back to that stupid Ocean King thing and eventually just stopped playing. My lady did the same thing but she picked it back up and finished it about a week ago. I'll do it when I finish Dragon Quest IV and before I start Chrono Trigger.
RE4 I will never finish. I'm convinced. I'll play it now and again, pick off some zombies, but I doubt I'll ever play it to the end.
Peter @ Dec 26th 2008 6:00PM
buffalo_aaa: Nah, sorry, my wife and I live in the Midwest. :( Around here, it's hard to make friends in our age range (mid- to late 20s). There's very few people near our age at our church and those few probably wouldn't be interested in video games.
I understand what you mean about Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The repeating dungeon made what was otherwise a coherent and enjoyable gameplay experience woefully repetitive in parts.
I understand the design theory behind the repeating dungeon, but, judging by the responses from Zelda fans I've read, it failed miserably. The game itself is fantastic, but the repeating dungeon is a glaring problem.
Peter @ Dec 26th 2008 11:54AM
Oop, I almost forgot: I still need to finish Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've played through to the time skip, but want to finish Chrono Trigger DS, Persona 4, Okami, and possibly Rogue Galaxy (in that order) first.
Oy, I'm behind on my RPGs.
tmntman @ Dec 26th 2008 12:01PM
To many unfinished games
Super Paper Mario: never even started yet
Okami: only played about an hour
Zack and Wiki: played about 20 minutes
No More Heroes: got to the final boss
Tyfo @ Dec 26th 2008 1:15PM
I have yet to finish Super Mario Galaxy - I'm just not that into single-player games, and luckily for me, I can nearly always assemble 3 or 4 players for Mario Kart Wii, SSBB, Bomberman Blast, or any of the other multiplayer games I have laying around.
dotbatman @ Dec 26th 2008 2:03PM
Super Mario Galaxy... I kept switching between it and Metroid Prime 3, and MP3 won. I've got about 80 stars and I just never seem to pick it up. In fact, rather than writing more about it, I think I'll just go play.
Anthony @ Dec 26th 2008 3:25PM
Ocarina of Time: Stuck on Bongo Bongo for over 1 year
Wario Land: Shake it - got pushed aside by COD:WAW and the game Cube version of Super Mario Sunshine. Maybe, I'll go back, but not really feeling it.
Metroid Prime 3, just didn't get it. Played through to the fight with the first boss once and didn't win, and never had the interest to go back...
Right now everythings on hold for Animal Crossing...
JD @ Dec 26th 2008 5:38PM
I actually just got on a "finish my unfinished games" kick about a month ago and finished up Twilight Princess, Zack and Wiki, and Mario Galaxy(haven't played it through as luigi yet). My current titles I'm working on are Pikmin 2(yes good Wii titles are hard to come by so I'm playing through this again), Mario Kart (don't think I'll finish this one; where is the co op curcuits?), and Okami which I just bought and its tons of fun so I'm sure I'll finish it all the way.
rouroniJohn @ Dec 26th 2008 7:03PM
LoZ:TP its just been sitting there...i like it and all but i think
games like MKwii and MoH2 have ruined me. theyve ruined
my attention span...i feel awful because i always mocked
people that played shooters as being stupid and just looking for cheap thrills as opposed to depth and quality but now im one of them D:
TheCoats @ Dec 27th 2008 12:21AM
Bully - I love the game and have beaten the PS2 version but after getting through 75 percent (in about a months time) of the wii version (really only half way through the story but I unlocked ALOT) I was showing it to a friend and I accidentally overwrote my save and got really bummed so i havent picked it back up yet
Victor @ Dec 27th 2008 11:24AM
I am going to finish a bunch of games.Like Animal Crossing Even though I havent realy Stopped playing it, I am also going to try to beat guitar hero 3 on hard or expert. I am also going to beat contact ( A 2 year old game). I am also going to to beat the Nights the to unlockable storys.
I am going to Try sonic and the secret rings and sonic unleashed Also pokemon ranger for ds
Deozaan @ Dec 29th 2008 4:27AM
How exactly do you finish Animal Crossing?
Deona @ Dec 27th 2008 3:50PM
Loz:tp... I love the game, but just haven't finished it yet. I really need to! I bought it a couple months after it came out.
deuxit @ Dec 27th 2008 8:18PM
RE4.
Played it awhile and then I found that the annoying can't run and shoot at the same time control just annoyed me to the point where I let it go.
Deozaan @ Dec 29th 2008 4:25AM
I still haven't completed Twilight Princess and I got it two years ago when the Wii launched. :(
Other unfinished Wii games:
Super Paper Mario
Zack & Wiki
Dewy's Adventure
Smash Bros. (Never finished subspace emissary and still haven't unlocked all characters)
I plan on finishing them all, except probably not Dewy's Adventure, but I keep getting new games.
