Free Springsteen tracks coming to World Tour

For all of you guitar heroes out there, Activision is offering up two free tracks for Guitar Hero: World Tour from none other than Jersey native, Bruce Springsteen. Available from January 27 to February 4, the two free tracks are "My Lucky Day," which is a little tune from his new album Working on a Dream, as well as "Born to Run," which is one of his more classic numbers.

As usual, you can find videos for each of the tracks past the break.

AWESOME! Some free music that's actually good, I love the DLC for GHWT, but the free stuff has been junk, though the pay for stuff is actually worth the money, I just bought a Wii Points card just for GHWT!

Born to Run?! I'd certainly never expect free DLC to be something I'd actually pay for; that's amazing! That will get me playing GHWT again over Rock Band - I assume NWF will have a reminder posting around January 27 to let me know to pop my GH disc in! Hooray for DLC competition, especially if RB2 gets theirs up before that.

Free DLC = GREAT way to promote a new album. The artists get increased publicity and maybe even some new fans, and the gamers get free tracks that, as StickFigure mentioned, are actually good in their own right.
Personally, I'm downloading this and hoping that U2 considers this sort of thing (or a full-album download a la "Death Magnetic" - this wouldn't be free, but it would be pretty cool) to promote their new album in March. Why haven't these guys been in Guitar Hero or Rock Band yet?
